LAVA’s reskinning proposal for the UTS tower Sydney, which won a UN partnered ZEROprize Award, is featured in a new exhibition in Sydney.

LAVA directors Tobias Wallisser, Alexander Rieck and Chris Bosse

The impact of Australians working internationally, or based in Australia with an international focus, is celebrated in AU.THENTIC, July 30 - August 21 at the TAIT.Outdoor Sydney showroom, Elizabeth Street, Redfern. The exhibition is part of Sydney Design 2011.

The multicultural melting pot that is 21st century Australia is a new global force in creativity across all disciplines with talents and products popping up all over the world. AU.THENTIC explores the way that Australia is engaged with the world by focusing on ‘visionaries whose work sends waves of antipodean influence across the globe’.

LAVA was founded by Chris Bosse, Tobias Wallisser and Alexander Rieck in 2007 and works across 3 time zones and 3 continents.

The AU.THENTIC exhibition was initiated by Australian design studio one8one7, Christey Johansson and Marcus Piper.

And Chris Bosse will talk on More with Less at a sustainability networking event on Tuesday 2nd of August 2011, 6:00pm at Muse Gallery, Ultimo TAFE, 695 Harris St, Sydney.

The event, organised by Greenups, explores how design can be used to inspire positive change in communities, the environment and organisations.
